Pasadena City College’s Native American Month Celebration continues with a National Day of Mourning observance. As the holiday season begins, the event invites participants to explore the significance of the National Day of Mourning for Native and Indigenous communities, providing an opportunity to reflect on the impact of Thanksgiving. Attendees will learn about the historical context of this day while paying tribute to those who have passed and recognizing the ongoing effects of colonization on Indigenous communities.
