Pasadena Village and Villager Jim Hendrick extend an invitation to a poetry gathering focused on the works of African American poets. This event welcomes those who appreciate the spoken word or poetry in general, offering an opportunity to gather and engage with various poems. Participants will read poems aloud—whether famous, infamous, or original—and share their thoughts. The gathering provides a chance to learn something new or rediscover something meaningful.
