The New Parent Infant Feeding Support Group is a monthly meeting space for local new parents to gather and ask questions about infant feeding and breastfeeding/chestfeeding in a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental setting. You will get the opportunity to ask any questions or concerns you have about new parenthood and infant feeding and receive appropriate advice from Rachel Paul, a registered nurse and a board certified lactation consultant, and open support from other attendees. A limited number of breastfeeding pillows and/or any other helpful feeding aids will provided. Attendance is not mandatory each month – this is an open support group, where attendance will vary month to month. About Rachel: Rachel Paul (she/her) is a registered nurse and lactation consultant. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from New York University. After working for many years as an inpatient oncology nurse in bone marrow transplant, she began working in women's health and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She currently works as a lactation consultant in both in-home private practice and in the NICU at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She feels there is no better job out there than providing lactation care to families with the goal always that they feel seen, supported and expertly guided without judgment. She lives in Altadena with her husband and two young children. https://www.rachelpaullactation.com/
