Circle of Friends, the philanthropy organization dedicated to supporting Kidspace Children’s Museum, is thrilled to unveil its 2025 Benefit, “A Work of Art,” which will take place at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Open to the public, this exquisite annual event consists of both silent and live auctions, raffles, dinner and dancing, all in support of Kidspace. Guests are encouraged to dress in costumes that embody creativity, artists and works of art. To support this year’s Benefit, visit kidspacemuseum.org/a-work-of-art. In the last five years, Circle of Friends has raised nearly $1.6 million for Kidspace, and it is the organization’s goal this year to hit $2 million at the Benefit. For 33 years, Circle of Friends’ fundraising efforts have played a vital role in supporting Kidspace’s access programs. These programs include monthly Free Family Nights, camp scholarships, discounted admission for veterans and their families, Title 1 school field trips, discounted admission for families with EBT cards, and virtual learning classes for LAUSD students. Circle’s fundraising and volunteer commitment supports Kidspace’s “Birthday Palooza,” a spectacular celebration for hundreds of deserving children in the LA foster care system. This special event reunites siblings living in separate foster homes to celebrate their birthdays as brothers and sisters. Funds raised also support other special events hosted at the museum, such as last year’s Ronald McDonald Families Halloween Escape, which provided a much-needed reprieve from medical treatments and hospital visits. Kidspace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Circle of Friends’ purpose is strictly charitable and consists of approximately 100 women from Pasadena, Altadena, San Marino, La Cañada Flintridge, South Pasadena, Glendale and the surrounding communities.
