This class is for crafty kids who want to make things with yarn, but don’t quite have the dexterity for knitting and crocheting. It’s a confidence builder as they’ll learn something new, quickly, easily and take home a completed project! Kids will learn about mystery and disguise by wrapping a plastic animal or toy in yarn until it is partially covered or fully obscured. They’ll pick an animal from the bin, some brightly colored yarn, and we’ll learn how to secure the yarn before starting to wrap it. Wrap it completely with one color, switch it up and alternate colors for a rainbow effect, give a giraffe a neck warmer or wrap an alligator so it is just a head and tail sticking out of a ball. Wrap two animals together even! There are no wrong answers, and creativity is encouraged! Kids can have fun and feel accomplished. Kids can take home their work and projects can be completed outside of class. Materials Included: All supplies and an assortment of tools and materials.
