Le book club de février traitera de Jacaranda, écrit par Gaël Faye. Ce roman a remporté le prix Renaudot en 2024. Jacaranda de Gaël Faye est une œuvre poignante et poétique qui explore des thèmes profonds liés à la mémoire, à l’exil, et à l’identité. L’histoire se déroule principalement au Burundi, où un immense jacaranda, cet arbre aux fleurs violettes, devient un symbole central. Le narrateur, un homme désormais adulte, revient sur son enfance marquée par les tensions politiques et ethniques qui ont bouleversé son pays natal.
