The Altadena Chamber of Commerce and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce are hosting the Small Business Administration (SBA) for a Loan Application Workshop. SBA counselors will be available to assist with applications, and attendees will have the opportunity to apply immediately for assistance from the SBA. The workshop will take place at Brookside Golf Club, located at 1133 North Rosemont Avenue in Pasadena. Free parking is available in the surface lots near the Rose Bowl and on the street, though attendees should be mindful that on-street parking is timed and enforced. This special event, scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, is dedicated to supporting survivors of the L.A. fires, with a particular focus on those affected by the Eaton Fire in Altadena. The event is held in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. “We are all working together to make sure assistance is available to everyone who is qualified and wants help,” said Judy Matthews, Executive Director of the Altadena Chamber of Commerce. “The deadlines are approaching very quickly and we hope the victims of the Eaton Fire can apply before it is too late to access funds.” The SBA will have counselors on site to assist with the application process. The deadline for application is March 10th. The Pasadena City College Small Business Development Center will also be on site to offer assistance. Brookside Golf Club generously provided the space and refreshments. Outreach partners include the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce, South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Alhambra Chamber of Commerce.
