The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) will host "A Celebration of Women's History Month" on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:00 p.m. at Marshall Fundamental School's Auditorium in Pasadena. This year's theme, "Honoring the Women's Movement and the Power of Us," highlights the collective strength and contributions of women throughout history. The event will feature keynote addresses by Sasha Rene Perez and PUSD Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Blanco. Past distinguished speakers have included Byllye Avery, Representative Judy Chu, Hillary Clinton, Laura Farber, Dr. Ying-Ying Goh, Dolores Huerta, and Maxine Waters. The evening will also showcase an essay reading and an art exhibit inspired by the 2025 theme, "Together We Rise."
