McKinley School of the Arts in collaboration with Harambe Ministries under the direction of Quiana Turner, Candace Lacy, and Courtney Linsey presents RIZE! What is Rize? It is not a musical or a play or like anything else that McKinley has EVER done before! It will have a little bit of everything: singing, dancing, rapping, spoken word, even some acting. Rize:The Dena Edition will be a nonstop, high energy, good time! Rize: The Dena Edition will celebrate the vibrant and unique legacy of Dena. After the tragedy and destruction of the Eaton Fire, the directors of Rize:The Dena Edition seek to apply balm to the hearts of the cities' residents and to remind everyone that we are #DenaStrong. All proceeds will directly benefit students through the McKinley Annual Fund. The McKinley Annual Fund is used to fund student events, visual and performing arts, and more. Donations are welcome.
