"Join us for our "Pie and Ice Cream Are Friends" bike ride! We will bike to local pie and ice cream shops, sampling treats along the way!" Back by popular demand, Participants will be riding bikes and eating ice cream - and pie too! You'll visit local purveyors of America’s favorite frozen and baked treats and sample their offerings. on Route: 9 miles with 240 feet of elevation gain Sections of the route will be shared with car traffic and will need attention in biking. What Is Needed for the Ride A bike in good working condition that you are comfortable riding. If you haven't ridden the bike in a long time, we suggest taking it to a local bike shop for a safety check or tune up. Helmets are recommended for all and required by law for anyone under 18. Water and snacks for the ride. Sunblock or clothing to protect you from the sun. A spare tube that fits the size of your tires.
