The arrival of the Altadena Library’s Curiosity Connection Vol. 2 bookmobile at Kidspace Children’s Museum promises an enriching afternoon for families eager to dive into new stories and learning adventures. On Friday, April 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Pasadena’s beloved children’s museum will host this mobile library, transforming its outdoor space into a vibrant hub of discovery and literary excitement.
This collaboration between the Altadena Library District and Kidspace offers more than just books. Families can sign up for library cards on site, check out or return books, and pick up exclusive library swag and flyers detailing upcoming community events. The outdoor reading area adjacent to the bookmobile invites children and caregivers alike to settle in and enjoy a quiet moment immersed in stories.
Adding to the appeal, families who register for a library card during the event will receive $3 off admission to Kidspace for up to four guests. This discount coincides with Kidspace’s free admission hours on the first Friday of every month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., making it an ideal time for Pasadena families to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits and gardens.
