The Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition is hosting a Pasadena Afternoon Architecture Walk from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday as part of Walktober 2021.

In this walk, which begins at 95 Fillmore St., you will join acclaimed and published walk leader Bob Inman and discover many of the features of Pasadena’s early 20th century architectural heritage, with a particular focus on the bungalow courts in the northern portion of the walk.

Then continue south through the Madison Heights neighborhood, developed between 1910 and 1917, and touch on the Oak Knoll neighborhood where the street plan departs from the rectilinear grid and becomes a curving flow drawn to adhere to valleys and ridge lines under a canopy of trees.

This 4.5-mile walk, mostly on residential blocks, is full of oak trees and a wide variety of great houses.

It’s a free event. To sign up, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/182147527157.
