Square dancing, pumpkin carving, and a petting zoo will transform Lake Avenue Church’s west parking lot into a fall carnival next Saturday, as the congregation in Pasadena hosts its Fall Fest celebration.
The free community event runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the church’s west parking lot, located at 393 N. Lake Ave. Organizers promise an evening packed with seasonal activities designed to bring neighbors together.
“Lake Avenue Church invites the community to its Fall Fest,” according to the church’s event announcement. “This fun-filled evening will feature food, live music, and dancing, along with trunk-or-treat, carnival games, a petting zoo, pumpkin carving, bounce houses, face painting, square dancing, and much more.”
The event marks the church’s second annual Fall Fest, following their inaugural celebration in Oct. 2024.
Activities span traditional harvest festival favorites and modern family entertainment. Children can collect treats during trunk-or-treat, test their skills at carnival games, or get creative at pumpkin carving stations. Bounce houses and face painting add to the lineup, while live music and square dancing provide entertainment for all ages.
“Fall Fest is free and open to the public, making it a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to gather and celebrate the season together,” according to church materials.
“Fall Fest” will run on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lake Avenue Church west parking lot, 393 N. Lake Ave., in Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 844-4700 or visit https://lakeave.org/event/513. Ticket prices: free admission.
