Friday, October 3, 2025, 5 – 7 PM at Ventura Harbor Village
Be among the first to hear Taylor Swift’s brand-new album, Life of a Showgirl, together with fellow fans at Ventura Harbor Village. This free seaside celebration invites Swifties of all ages to gather along the waterfront, listen to the new album, and soak in the moment as a community. Highlights include a Full Album Listening Experience with 95.1 KBBY radio team onsite blasting Taylor’s newest songs across the waterfront, a Friendship Bracelet Station with supplies provided for Swifties to craft and trade bracelets with fellow fans, Taylor Swift Giveaways from KHAY Radio that include theme park prizes and Swift-inspired goodies, Sticker Station & Glitter Bar and Surprise Moments with extra Taylor-themed touches throughout the day. Seaside Movie Nights last of the movie series for 2025 on Ventura Harbor Village’s Main Lawn, where movie goers get spellbound by the Halloween cult classic, Hocus Pocus. Witch & movie enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to bring their blankets, low chairs, and wear their most bewitching costume for a night of laughs, frights, and festive fun under the stars. Come early to dine at seaside restaurants and join in the 5:30 PM preshow fun that includes giveaways and more, followed by the movie screening at approximately 6:30 PM. Halloween Harbor vibes are on the water as the witches don their witchy and warlock costumes for a seaside cos-play moment in the sea! This bewitching Halloween event invites stand up board paddlers and kayakers to glide along Ventura Harbor Village main channel. Now in its seventh year, this magical tradition (initiated by two local ladies Christie Moorehouse and Susan Stuart) has grown into a highly-anticipated community event. Rentals are available at Ventura Boat Rentals, or visitors can bring their own and launch from the Village docks or the Ventura Harbor public launch ramp. Calling all dog owners and canine lovers to Ventura Harbor’s beloved dog costume contest! From spooky pups to sea-worthy pooches, contestants will vie for top prizes, including Best in Show, Spookiest, Most Sea Worthy, Most On Trend, and Most Creative. Following the contest, dog owners can partake in a doggie parade along the waterfront promenade into the Ventura Harbor Village. The event is sponsored by Ventura Pet Barn. Sunday, October 26, 2025, Noon – 3 PM at Ventura Harbor Village (Noon – 1 PM – pre trick or treat festivities and activities and 1-3 PM is the trick or treating in the Village)
Make it a family affair as part of Ventura Harbor Village’s festive trick-or-treat adventure throughout the Village. New this year, an extra hour with live entertainment before the Trick or Treating begins from Noon- 1 PM with a host of fun from bubble and magician shows, to a Monster Mash Kids Dance Party, Harbor Skeleton Hunt with prizes, photo opps and face painting. Then at 1 PM – 3 PM, let the Trick or Treat begin (while supplies last) With 20+ participating Harbor shops and restaurants giving out plenty of seaside treats, Halloween themed crafts, professional pumpkin carving, and vendors, this fun event is not to be missed. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to dress in costumes. (note that last minute accessories are available for purchase from both Hats Unlimited or Lost in Socks)! Don’t forget to bring a Trick or Treat bag. On display will be cars, Vans, SUV’s, trucks, bikes and other electric equipment, even vintage EV conversions. During the day, car owners, who have years of EV ownership, will enthusiastically discuss their experience, and answer questions about owning an EV. Nissan Leaf, VW ID.4, Tesla Model S,3,X, Y, Chevy Bolt & Volt, Hyundai Ioniq6, Kia EV6, Rivian RIT, Ford Lighting, Lucid Air are just some vehicles enthusiasts can expect to see!
