Farmers Market and Card Tournament Fill Pasadena’s Saturday Calendar

Published on Aug 27, 2026

Two Pasadena events are open to the public Saturday, Aug. 29: the city’s weekly certified farmers market at Victory Park and a one-on-one card tournament at Odyssey Games on East Colorado Boulevard.

The Pasadena Certified Farmers’ Market at Victory Park runs 8 a.m. to noon in the 2900 block of North Sierra Madre Boulevard, at Paloma Street in front of Pasadena High School. Entry is free. The city directs shoppers to the new monitored entrance at the northwest corner of the parking lot. The market operates every Saturday, rain or shine, except the week of the Tournament of Roses Parade.

As many as 60 vendors sell at Victory Park on Saturdays. The market says its growers are certified by the county agricultural commissioner and sell only what they grow. It accepts EBT and participates in the Hunger Action LA Market Match program, and shoppers can ask about both at the information booth. The market opened in 1984, and the City of Pasadena has operated it since 1995.

Odyssey Games hosts the Neuroscape Source Code Showdown, a store championship, from noon to 5 p.m. at 1795 E. Colorado Blvd. Entry is $20. The tournament is a constructed one-on-one format with a Swiss phase, capped at 32 players, and players compete for the Source Code Deja Vu card. Participation promos and prizing will be awarded, Odyssey Games says. Play is estimated to finish about 4:10 p.m.
