Feeling Alone This Christmas? Spend Some Time with Seniors This Holiday Season

Published on Dec 22, 2020

Join the Pasadena Senior Center on Friday, December 25, for a Special Edition Social Hour on Christmas Day.

Participants will be able to share lighthearted holiday stories, and dance silly dances and have by-request music by pianist and accordion player Steve Ormond, all via Zoom.

A professional musician for over three decades, Steve Ormond plays a variety of instruments, specializing in the keyboard and accordion.

Originally the musical director of a melodrama/vaudeville theater, Ormond’s musical career over the decades has included performances at the Edinburgh Theater Festival and involvement in a variety of bands playing classic rock, Latin, jazz, Dixieland and ragtime. He performs regularly at a variety of venues and events.

Ormond, based in Thousand Oaks, has been an elementary school teacher for 30 years, and uses music daily in his classroom.
