First United Methodist Church of Pasadena will hold an intergenerational program called Faith Quest over three days in August, according to a press release from the church and details posted on its website.

The program, described by the church as formerly known as Vacation Bible School, is scheduled for Friday, August 7; Saturday, August 8; and Sunday, August 9, at the church in Pasadena’s Playhouse District, east of Old Town. The church’s website lists the address as 500 East Colorado Boulevard.

The church says the program is open to all ages and that parents and guardians are encouraged to take part alongside children. In its press release, the church describes Faith Quest as an adventure “through the Kin-dom of God,” with participants learning “more about Jesus, ourselves, and each other.” Each day is tied to one of the miracles the church says Jesus performed during his life, and participants examine clues and collect puzzle pieces that, according to the release, unite at the end of the quest to reveal a final result the church does not disclose in advance.

Session times differ by day. According to the church, the program runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on August 7, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on August 8, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on August 9. The church says a presentation about the program will be included in its 10:00 a.m. Sunday worship service on August 9, followed by a barbecue.

Registration costs $30 per person, according to the church. The press release directs prospective participants to register by scanning a QR code; the church’s website also lists an online sign-up through its Church Center page. The press release states that registration is due by July 26.
