Published on May 9, 2022

It was an exciting and historic time as Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy hosted its 45th annual Gala on Saturday, May 7th at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. This year’s event, hosted by actor Matthew Lillard, returned in-person to celebrate and honor the 90 years Flintridge Sacred Heart has been open and educating young women for a life filled with faith, integrity and truth.

Over 400 alumni, parents, grandparents, staff and friends of the school enjoyed an evening of fun including a reception, dinner, music, entertainment and both a live and silent auction. Proceeds from the Gala will help fund the second phase of classroom renovations in the main high school building. This includes upgrades to classrooms, creating new state-of-the-art learning spaces to help students excel as well as renovations to the hallways and corridor.

Flintridge Sacred Heart is located in La Cañada Flintridge, California and serves approximately 400 young women in grades nine through twelve from eight countries and four states. The school offers signature programs in STEM, research, athletics and the arts and is consistently ranked as a top private, boarding and all-girls school. Throughout the pandemic, Flintridge Sacred Heart faculty, staff and students created new and innovative ways of learning. The Class of 2021 had 589 college acceptances with $15.2 million in awarded scholarships. Now back to learning on campus, Flintridge Sacred Heart has a dynamic learning environment that engenders university-level engagement and is designed to inspire students to wonder, be curious, and seek truth with voraciousness and determination.
