The festival opens Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., then runs Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day. Beyond the food stalls — which span cuisines, desserts and novelty drinks — the event features carnival-style games, craft and merchandise booths and live music. On the night of the Fourth, FoodieLand adds a special Independence Day drone show.
Billed as one of the region’s largest food festivals, FoodieLand has built a following by gathering a huge range of vendors in one place, letting visitors graze their way from one global cuisine to the next. The Rose Bowl’s vast grounds give the market room to spread out, with space for seating, games and the evening’s entertainment.
