Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Los Angeles, running Friday through Sunday, marks the third consecutive year the stadium and adjacent Brookside Golf Course have been transformed into a sprawling arena for the mobile game. The event, now organized by Scopely after it acquired the Pokémon GO games business from Niantic, drew 48,000 attendees in 2025 who spent an average of $929 each in the region, generating $102.7 million in total economic activity across Los Angeles and Pasadena, according to a study commissioned by Scopely and conducted with Statista.
The gameplay runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. One-day tickets cost $30 and are available at pokemongo.com/gotour while supplies last.
This year’s edition is themed around the Kalos region from the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games. Ticket holders will explore three in-game habitats spread across the venue: the Central Village just outside the stadium, the Mountain Manor on the golf course, and the Coastal Laboratory to the north, according to the Mercury News.
New for 2026 is Mega Night, a separately ticketed evening experience that extends gameplay from 6 to 8 p.m. at the stadium and golf course. The $20 add-on requires a base event ticket. Mega Night features exclusive raid battles and a live musical performance by GlitchxCity, according to the event’s official website.
The economic footprint extends well beyond the Rose Bowl gates. In 2025, 77% of attendees traveled from outside Los Angeles and 9% came from other countries, according to the Scopely-commissioned study. Pasadena hotels, restaurants, and retailers near the stadium saw increased foot traffic, the report said, with visitors exploring the Arroyo Seco and Old Pasadena between gameplay sessions. The study reported $22.8 million in tax revenue and the equivalent of 746 full-time local jobs supported.
“We remain committed to creating experiences that inspire exploration, connection, and shared joy — proving that when we play together, everyone benefits,” Scopely said in a statement accompanying the economic impact report in November 2025.
Citywide gameplay extends throughout Los Angeles and Orange County during event hours for ticket holders. Additional gameplay days are available through add-on purchases. A Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store will be available at the stadium for the first time, according to the event’s official website. All merchandise must be preordered and picked up on the buyer’s ticketed day.
A global companion event for players worldwide, Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global, is scheduled for February 28 and March 1.
Rose Bowl Stadium has implemented a clear bag policy and a portable battery policy — one battery per person, approximately smartphone-sized or smaller. Parking must be purchased in advance and is limited; organizers recommend rideshare or public transit, including the Metro A Line to Pasadena. Tickets are nonrefundable.
