As an annual tradition, Parson’s Nose presents its “Irish Celebration,” a 90-minute tribute to the poetry, songs, and humor of Ireland. For ArtNight on March 10, the troupe is doing something different: and they’re inviting everyone to take part.
On March 10th, during Art Night, Parson’s Nose is offering a sneak peek at their upcoming performance. It’s a rehearsal of their “Irish Celebration” show, and it’s free to all. Director Lance Davis says it’s a relaxed atmosphere where anyone can come, take a peek, and sing along.
The show features a mix of William Butler Yeats, the Clancy Brothers, and “Mulroney walks into a pub.” Parson’s Nose will start rehearsing when the crowd gathers, which usually happens around 6:20 p.m., and they’ll continue until the jokes hold out, which is typically around 9:30 or so.
Pasadena takes pride in its free arts nights, and Parson’s Nose is thrilled to be a part of it. Davis encourages everyone to come out and enjoy the show, and to experience the warmth and camaraderie of Pasadena’s vibrant arts community.
Parson’s Nose is at 95 N. Marengo Ave., Suite 110, Pasadena. For more call (626) 345-5116.
