Fortunate Son, a Credence Clearwater Revival tribute band, performs at the Coffee Gallery Backstage on Friday, Jan. 20, starting at 8 p.m.
Since 1994, Brad Ford has starred as John Fogerty, pioneering the “ultimate” Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute: Fortunate Son. This show quickly became known as “The Premier Act” celebrating the music of CCR and John Fogerty. Featured on Season 4 of AXS TV’s “The World’s Greatest Tribuate Bands” in September 2014, Fortunate Son continually performs across America, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
Combining timeless CCR favorites and Fogerty solo hits, the band personifies the spirit and grit of one of America’s favorite rock and roll bands. The show is for all ages and unites classic rock, country, blues, and folk music fans together like no other tribute act can.
Every show features the best of both world’s timeless CCR classics and legendary Fogerty solo hits. From the swampy blues of “Born on the Bayou” and “Green River,” to the country influences of “Bad Moon Rising,” “Lodi,” and “Looking Out My Back Door.”
Rock anthems such as “Proud Mary,” “Centerfield,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.” All these classics are delivered with the authentic sound, look and feel of John Fogerty. Armed with vintage gear, Rickenbackers, Les Pauls, Fender and Kustom amps, Brad Ford and Fortunate Son are “Rockin’ All Over the World” and very proud to be able to entertain everyone.
The show is in high demand at major casinos, state and county fairs, festivals, community concerts, corporate events, and veteran celebrations.
Tickets to the concert are $20. For more information, call (626) 798-6236 or visit www.coffeegallery.com.
