Free Workshop Targets Growing Crisis of Caregiver Burnout

Foundation for Senior Services partners with Pasadena Senior Center to offer practical tools for overwhelmed caregivers

As the demands of caring for aging family members and patients intensify, a free workshop next week aims to help both professional and family caregivers before they reach their breaking point.

The “Burnout Prevention & Self-Care for Caregivers” workshop, presented by the Foundation for Senior Services in partnership with the Pasadena Senior Center, will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, August 20, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“This workshop offers practical tools and insights to help caregivers recognize the signs of burnout, set healthy boundaries, and build sustainable self-care practices,” according to the workshop description.

The session is designed for both professional caregivers and family members supporting loved ones at home.

Attendees will learn to recognize signs of caregiver burnout, set healthy boundaries, and build sustainable self-care practices.
