Caltech’s vibrant music scene is set to come alive this Saturday, March 4 with a special concert that will feature the Caltech Chamber Music and the Caltech Video Game and Anime Ensemble.

The hour-long performance, which will take place at 8:00 pm in Dabney Lounge, promises to be a memorable experience for music lovers and enthusiasts alike.

The concert will begin with two chamber music groups presenting Dvořák’s enchanting Miniatures, followed by a complete performance of Boccherini’s famous “Fandango” for guitar and string quartet. These performances will showcase the talent and dedication of Caltech’s small instrumental ensembles.

Next, the Caltech Video Game and Anime Ensemble will take to the stage to present a selection of pieces from video games and anime. They provide an opportunity for students to perform video game and anime music in an orchestra setting and welcome all levels of music experience. The club hosts various events throughout the year, such as concerts, game nights, and movie nights, and also participates in various charity events.

The Ensemble’s concert cycle will feature pieces from popular franchises such as Mario, Pokemon, and Studio Ghibli. Fans of these beloved titles will undoubtedly be thrilled to hear the music they love brought to life by such talented performers.
