From Pilates to Painting: Unleash Your Inner Cat Lover at Tail Town Cafe

Published on Mar 28, 2023

If you’re a cat lover, then you know there’s no such thing as too much cat time. But if you’re looking for a way to enjoy the company of some furry friends while also getting some exercise and unleashing your creativity, then Pasadena’s Tail Town Cat Café has got you covered with its April event schedule.

On April 2, join Tail Town for Mat Purrlates, a 45-minute Pilates class that incorporates stretching and plenty of feline fun. After the class, cool down with a 15-minute snuggle session with some of the café’s cats and kittens. Don’t forget to bring your own mat and towel! The cost for this event is $20 per person.

If you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, then the Mindfulness and Stretching session on April 16 may be more up your alley. This calming meditation class, inspired by cats, will help you center yourself, relax, and stretch. After the class, enjoy a 15-minute snuggle session with some of the café’s lounge cats and kittens. Bring your own mat and pillow for this event, which costs $20 per person.

On April 21, grab your friends and put your cat knowledge to the test at Trivia Night. This cat-centric trivia event promises prizes, cats, and fun. Bring your own team of 3-4 people or join one when you arrive. The cost is $20 per person.

For those who prefer a more creative experience, Tail Town is hosting a Meow and Paint event on April 28. Get ready to unleash your inner artist with the help of painting instructor Gwen, all while surrounded by cats. Art materials are provided, and participants must be 21 or older to attend. Don’t forget to bring your own beverages! The cost for this event is $35 per person.

All cats at Tail Town Cat Café are available for adoption, and the café works with Kitten Rescue to find furever homes for cats and kittens that have been saved from euthanasia in high-kill shelters or were abandoned on the streets. The café is family owned and operated, and 100% of its profits go toward taking care of the cats in its care and supporting its partner rescue.

Visit Tail Town Cat Café at 1780 E Washington Blvd in Pasadena. For more information, contact Tail Town at tailtown@yahoo.com. Don’t miss out on these fun-filled April events – your inner cat lover will thank you!
