The International Gem & Jewelry Show, produced by Maryland-based InterGem, Inc., set up in Hall B at 300 East Green Street on Friday and runs through Sunday. The show visits more than 35 U.S. cities each year with more than 60 annual stops, according to the company’s website, and returns to Pasadena multiple times — with another show already scheduled for July.
Sunday’s hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no admittance after 4 p.m. Friday hours were noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday’s were 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Discounted tickets purchased online cost $6 by credit card. Standard admission at the door is $8, cash only. A single ticket covers all three days, according to the InterGem website. No refunds or transfers are offered.
Active-duty military members, veterans and their immediate families enter free with a military identification card, according to the show’s website. Licensed wholesale buyers and qualifying teachers, students and staff with a school email address also receive free admission with pre-registration — though the online deadline for those categories passed on March 11.
Vendors at the show sell diamonds, beads, pearls, opals, fine jewelry, precious and semi-precious gemstones, engagement rings, watches, vintage and estate pieces, custom jewelry, jewelry-making supplies and findings, according to InterGem’s event listing. Jewelry cleaning and repair services are also available.
Children under 9 are not permitted, and photography is not allowed inside the show, according to Visit Pasadena’s event listing.
InterGem was founded in 1967 by Herbert A. Duke, Sr., who started what the company describes as the first commercial gem and jewelry show to sell directly to the public. The first show was held in May 1967 in Washington, D.C. The Duke family has remained involved in the business, according to the company’s website.
Parking is available in the underground garage at 175 South Euclid Avenue, shared with Hotel Dena. The Pasadena Convention Center is also a 10-minute walk from Memorial Park and Del Mar stations on the Metro A Line. For more information, visit intergem.com or call (301) 294-1640.
The next InterGem show in Pasadena is scheduled for July 17-19, 2026, at the same venue.
