
The Pasadena Senior Center (PSC) is gearing up to host a highly anticipated Cultural Thursdays event featuring the charismatic storyteller Etta Mae Mumphries. Titled “And the Rest is History!” This entertaining performance will take place on Thursday, June 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center.
Etta Mae Mumphries has earned a reputation as an unparalleled storyteller, captivating audiences with her engaging narratives. Renowned for her encounters with some of the most influential figures in history, including Josephine Baker, Billie Holiday, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Sammy Davis, Jr., and many others, Etta Mae has become known as the “Geriatric Forrest Gump.” Her wealth of wisdom and uplifting spirit has made her an extraordinary source of inspiration for all who have the privilege of hearing her tales.
Karen Bankhead, the talented actor behind the character Etta Mae, will take attendees on a joyous and hilarious journey through history. To enhance the experience, the event will also feature delightful musical stylings from acclaimed actor and singer Pam Trotter.
