Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival will return to Brookside at the Rose Bowl on August 8, with Grammy-nominated girl group KATSEYE headlining the one-day event, organizers 88rising and Goldenvoice announced Monday.
The festival, which has taken place at the Pasadena venue since 2021, will scale back from last year’s two-day format — an edition that drew more than 75,000 attendees on May 31 and June 1, 2025, according to published reports. This year’s lineup features artists from the Asian diaspora, including Japanese group XG and South Korean rapper Dabin.kr, who will perform in the United States for the first time under his new stage name, according to a press release from the organizers.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. PT. General admission passes start at $179, VIP passes at $329 and 1999 Club passes at $479. All prices include service fees and taxes, according to the press release. Fans can register for presale access at la.hitcfestival.com.
KATSEYE, a six-member group formed through the 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy, earned two Grammy nominations this year — Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their single “Gabriela.” The group performed at the Grammy ceremony on February 1 but did not win either award. The Head In The Clouds appearance will mark KATSEYE’s first performance at the festival.
One of the group’s members, Manon Bannerman, announced a temporary hiatus on February 20 to focus on her health and well-being, according to a statement posted to Weverse by HYBE and Geffen Records, the labels behind the group. Whether she will rejoin the group for the August performance has not been confirmed.
XG, a seven-member group from Japan that performs primarily in English, released its debut full-length album, “The Core,” in January 2026 and is currently on a world tour. Dabin.kr, formerly known as DPR LIVE, changed his stage name to his birth name in late 2023 and released his debut album under the new moniker, “Giggles,” in January 2024.
The full announced lineup also includes Rich Brian, Gia Fu, KiiiKiii, LNGSHOT, no na, Tiffany Day, Warren Hue and UMI. Asian food vendors from across the diaspora will also be featured, with details to be announced, according to the press release.
Head In The Clouds launched in 2018 at Los Angeles State Historic Park and moved to Brookside at the Rose Bowl in 2021. The festival has since expanded to New York, Jakarta, Manila and China. 88rising, which describes itself as a music and media company focused on Asian talent, produces the event in partnership with Goldenvoice, the concert promoter behind Coachella.
Brookside at the Rose Bowl is located at 1001 Rose Bowl Dr., Pasadena, CA 91103. The 2025 festival brought road closures, noise impacts and a full closure of the Rose Bowl loop to recreational users.
The 2026 festival marks the latest in a growing roster of large-scale music events at Brookside, which also hosts Goldenvoice’s Just Like Heaven and Cruel World festivals. The organizers have not said whether the shift to a single day is permanent.
