Greenline Housing Foundation has announced its Second Annual Music for the Movement benefit concert, an event aimed at addressing racial wealth disparities through homeownership initiatives. The concert is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7, 5:30 p.m., at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena.

Jericho Road Pasadena is helping to spread the word about the event, which will feature performances by diverse musicians and storytelling from special guests.

“Greenline Housing Foundation invites you to be part of this meaningful event,” Jericho Road said in a statement. “Together, we can help close the racial wealth gap and build a more equitable future for all. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support a cause that truly matters.”

The Composers Diversity Collective, dedicated to addressing the music industry’s challenge of finding culturally diverse music creators, is a key partner in the event.

The Collective works to increase visibility for minority composers and dispel misconceptions about their stylistic range. It also provides education and mentorship to emerging composers in underserved communities.

The Greenline Housing Foundation focuses on creating opportunities for historically marginalized communities to achieve financial stability and empowerment through property ownership. Homeownership is considered a crucial step toward building generational wealth.

The benefit concert promises an evening of music, food, and drinks. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the foundation’s mission and hear from individuals impacted by its work.
