Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has launched a national chain of ghost kitchen restaurants called Flavortown Kitchen, including one in Pasadena, according to the company that has teamed with the culinary star.
The restaurant in Pasadena, which operates out of Buca di Beppo at 80 W. Green Street, has begun operating with a “soft opening,” according to Virtual Dining Concepts spokesperson Tamar Aprahamian.
“Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen is a delivery-only virtual restaurant; there are no physical locations for consumers to pick-up food or have a sit-down dining experience,” Aprahamian said. “Consumers can order the online menu, given they’re within the delivery range, via the website, through his app — available for download from the Apple Store or Google Play), or through most third-party delivery carriers including Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, UberEats and Seamless.”
Prior to teaming with Fieri, Virtual Dining Concepts has taken part in other ghost kitchen projects with celebrities and influencers, including MrBeast Burger, which also operates out of Buca di Beppo. More collaborations are planned in the future.
