Heart of Gold Celebrates the Music of Neil Young at The Coffee Gallery Backstage

The Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena hosts Heart of Gold, a Southern California act performing the music of Neil Young, on Friday, June 17, starting at 8 p.m.

The popular Neil Young tribute has been at the Coffee Gallery Backstage a couple of times, and is returning to perform all of Young’s popular tunes.

Composed of some of the best and most seasoned tribute musicians in Southern California, Heart of Gold faithfully and respectfully performs Neil Young’s classics with great attention to detail and a heartfelt love of the music that becomes evident in the passion and intensity of their performance.

You’ll hear all the great songs: “Cinnamon Girl,” “Hey, Hey, My, My,” “Down By the River,” “Heart of Gold,” “Old Man,” “Needle and the Damage Done,” “Southern Man,”  “Ohio,” “Rockin’ in the Free World,” and many other classics from Young’s vast catalog.

As an added bonus, Stephen Bock from Taylor Made, the James Taylor Tribute Band, will perform a set of JT classics with Heart of Gold to open the show.
