Published on Oct 12, 2020

Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena  is hosting “Evening for the Station,” a night of live performance and entertainment, on Wednesday, October 14, all to benefit homeless services provided by the organization.

The event is a continuation of “An Evening for the Station” which has delivered world-class entertainment over the last two decades in support of Union Station Homeless Services.

Union Station Homeless Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to helping homeless individuals and families rebuild their lives. It is part of a premier group of human services agencies in Los Angeles County that are leading the way to ending homelessness.

Union Station is also the San Gabriel Valley’s largest social service agency assisting homeless and very low-income adults and families. Since 1973, the organization has helped rebuild the lives of thousands of people who were once homeless and without hope.

The new completely virtual “Evening for the Station” event kicks off at 7 p.m., live streamed from the Raymond 1886 restaurant in Pasadena, which will be transformed into a hub for an engaging, dynamic night of entertainment.

The event will feature live music performances from the Katie Thiroux Trio, led by Los Angeles bassist and vocalist Katie Thiroux, who has established herself as one of the most exciting and in-demand musicians today.

Guests will enjoy their choice of wine tastings hosted by Brice Baillie from Obvious Wines, craft beer tastings from Arts District Brewing Co, or fabulous “mocktails” from the restaurant.

General admission at $50 includes entrance to the virtual live event on Zoom. All tickets include musical performances and a choice of beverage between wine, beer and mocktail.

Sponsorship packages are also available and will include marketing opportunities and a delicious three-course dinner from The Raymond 1886.

The event also features a two-week long silent auction, which opened October 1, with amazing packages to help raise funds for Union ‘s life-saving programs. Registration for the auction is open to the general public. You can register and view the open items through https://e.givesmart.com/events/ito.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Union Station Homeless Services.
