Pasadena Public Library’s Hill Avenue Branch will host “Thoughtful Thursdays,” a free weekly drop-in program designed to provide a space for adults to check in, reflect, relax, and cultivate community.
The program begins Thursday, January 8, from noon to 1 p.m. Participants can expect conversation games, tossing around the icebreaker ball, calm coloring, mindfulness tips, and other activities. The program is open to adults ages 18 and older, including emerging adults ages 18 to 24 and adults 50 and older.
Weather permitting, sessions will take place at the cafe tables in the branch’s outdoor courtyard. The program requires no advance registration. Those seeking accessibility accommodations should contact the branch at least 72 hours in advance to help ensure availability.
The Hill Avenue Branch, which opened in 1925, is the oldest branch in the Pasadena Public Library system.
