Descanso Gardens’ CARVED via Facebook
Descanso Gardens brings back its beloved Halloween tradition with Carved, transforming the botanical gardens into an illuminated seasonal wonderland from Oct. 3-30. The family-friendly event combines luminous jack-o’-lanterns, massive hand-carved gourds, and striking light installations to celebrate the season with both returning favorites and new creative elements.
“Carved has become such a beloved tradition for our community,” said Juliann Rooke, Chief Executive Officer of Descanso Gardens. “This year brings exciting new surprises while preserving the magical atmosphere our guests look forward to each fall.”
Illuminated Attractions and Artistic Displays
The October event transforms Descanso Gardens into an illuminated landscape of ghoulish jack-o’-lanterns, giant hand-carved pumpkins and creative light displays. Visitors can discover new vignettes in the Pumpkin Forest, seasonal treats at Harvest Acres, and festive lighting at the popular Descanso Railroad.
Chainsaw Jenna returns with her signature artistry, sculpting massive logs into haunting ghosts and witches. The mesmerizing light sculpture Rhizome by Tom and Lien Dekyvere also makes its return as a guest favorite.
