A free Hope & Healing Supper Club this February will give adults 50 and older a welcoming space to process grief, rebuild resilience and connect with others over a guided wellness session and shared meal.

The event is part of “HOPE to Healing,” described as “a 4-part, in-person wellness series designed to support adults 50+ in rebuilding emotional resilience and strengthening community connection after disruption and loss.”

From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., participants will join a “Resilience, hope, & healing” facilitated session, followed by a complimentary supper from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The program uses “guided reflection, mindfulness, music, and storytelling” so attendees can “explore themes of grief, identity, and belonging—while learning simple, practical self-care tools to support emotional wellbeing long after the series ends.”

The evening will be facilitated by Stacie Yeldell, MA, MT-BC, a mental health consultant with Project HOPE.

Organizers envision the series as a way to foster ongoing community, emotional literacy and mutual support among older adults.

As the invitation puts it, “Come as you are. Leave with community, clarity, and self-care tools you can return to—again and again.”

Hope & Healing Supper Club will run on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 5:00 p.m. Village Office Community Room 236 W. Mountain St, #113 Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 765-6037 or visit https://pasadena.helpfulvillage.com/events/4365.
