Scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8, Sunday, March 1, and Sunday, April 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the three-hour workshops offer participants a chance to explore different gardens or works of art with instructor Kimberly Lee, followed by nature-inspired creative writing prompts. “As you connect with the beauty of the natural world, you’ll be encouraged to observe and reflect for inspiration and personal insight,” according to the workshop description.
Sessions continue in Roger’s Classroom in the Education and Visitor Center for intuitive collage-making, creating pieces that “reflect your inner landscape.” These collages serve as springboards for further journaling.
Kimberly Lee, J.D., holds degrees from Stanford University and UC Davis School of Law and is the author of the thriller “Have You Seen Him.” She is certified in multiple disciplines including Amherst Writers and Artists, The Center For Journal Therapy, Intentional Creativity, Guided Autobiography, The Path Meditation, and SoulCollage®.
Tickets cost $50 for the public and $45 for Huntington members. Tickets are not sold at the door; email
