Here comes fall, wearing her summer disguise. While temperatures will likely range in the 90s this weekend, autumn officially arrived this week. Don’t expect any falling leaves or cable knit sweaters quite yet, but the thing about BBQ is that it makes sense in Southern California, in any season.

Thus The Raymond 1886’s Indian Summer BBQ this Sunday, September 27th, from 4 pm. To 9 p.m.  (or you can pre-order takeout by Thursday, September 24th and pick up the goods on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

The Raymond 1886 can prepare, prep and pack a meal to enjoy at home, or guests are welcome to dine on any one of The Raymond 1886’s three outdoor dining patios.

The Raymond 1886’s Indian Summer BBQ Menu features a “Build Your Own BBQ Bowl” which includes one meat, one side, and one topping ($18), or a “Build Your Own” plate with two meats, two sides and one topping ($28). The meat selection includes Brisket with Nueske BBQ Sauce, Pork Shiso with Bonito Teriyaki, or BBQ Chicken Breast with Spicy Mayo.

Guests can also choose one or two sides including steamed short-grain rice, Sesame Potato Salad, or Red Quinoa, with a choice of either the Crunchy Garlic Chili or Furikake Kimchi as a topping.

The 1886 will also be serving up three specialty Cocktails including the Don Lockwood comprised of bourbon, scotch, maple syrup and Angostura bitters, the Army/Navy, made of gin, orgeat, lemon and Angostura bitters, and the Saladito, prepared with mezcal, lime, honey and chili salt.

In fact, the Raymond 1886 will also be offering their entire summer cocktail menu for outdoor Dine-in, takeout, delivery, and curbside pickup, along with a special selection of wine and beer.
