The International Gem & Jewelry Show has returned to the Pasadena Convention Center but hurry, it wraps Sunday, July 20, or lose this opportunity to meet with manufacturers, wholesalers and designers under one roof.
The three-day event will be held in Hall B of the convention center. Admission costs $6 for tickets that provide access to all three days. Discounted tickets are available online, but organizers note no refunds or transfers will be allowed.
Children under 9 are not permitted at the show.
InterGem Inc., which produces the show, calls the event “America’s longest running direct-to-consumer jewelry show.” The company was founded in 1967 and now produces more than 60 shows in over 35 major U.S. cities.
The show promises buyers can shop directly from manufacturers, wholesalers & designers for the lowest prices. Organizers say the competitive atmosphere among vendors drives prices down.
Attendees will find loose gemstones, beaded strands, pearls, watches, antique and estate jewelry, supplies, chains, charms and accessories. The selection ranges from rare and expensive pieces to everyday fashionable items.
Some shows have featured special exhibits, including jewelry displays from famous movie stars and celebrities. Free jewelry cleaning services and maintenance tips are typically provided.
The company describes its events as an essential marketplace for jewelry stores, jewelry makers and jewelry enthusiasts. InterGem is described as the largest exhibition of gems, minerals and jewelry in the world.
