The first Music on the Patio for 2022 at the Pasadena Senior Center features pianist Bob Lipson and singer Don Snyder, both Senior Center favorites, in an informal afternoon of music and song on Thursday, January 27, 2 p.m., featuring your favorite standards and show tunes.
Bob Lipson, an outstanding pianist-interpreter of the great American Standards, performs as both soloist and accompanist throughout Southern California. He “trains” with Jazz great Terry Trotter and performs with a jazz ensemble. He is also the former President of the Santa Monica Oceanaires of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Don Snyder is one of the premier cabaret entertainers in the business. He has worked with Robert Goulet, Carol Lawrence, Milton Berle and Michael Crawford and other luminaries and performed leading roles in productions from “Carousel “ to “Desert Song.” He has performed on ocean liners around the globe and on land in the finest night spots. Snyder also maintains an active career performing with local orchestras in oratorio and pop concerts.
