“A lover of jazz from all periods, pianist Larry Garf is particularly captivated by the origins of the genre.” That’s how Garf’s weekly performance is introduced on the Jones Coffee Roasters website, where the café in Pasadena hosts him every Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.

Garf’s eclectic repertoire spans ragtime, early jazz and blues, as well as standards—highlighting the music of George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and others. His performances also include beloved Beatles songs and other musical gems, offering a wide range of recognizable favorites in a relaxed morning setting.

Presented by Jones Coffee Roasters, the performance is free and part of the café’s regularly scheduled live music series. The event offers patrons a consistent opportunity to enjoy live music as part of their Friday morning routine, with no tickets or reservations required.
