Jefferson Branch Library to Host Free 3D Paper Flower Workshop

Pasadena youth and young adults can combine technology and craft this month at a free workshop dedicated to creating 3D paper blooms.

The Pasadena Public Library will host “DIY 3D Paper Flowers” on Monday, Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. The event takes place at the Jefferson Branch Children and Teen Services.

Designed for ages 13-24, the program utilizes Cricut smart cutting machines to create the floral designs.

According to the library’s event description, participants will “get a jump start on spring and learn to make paper blooms with the Cricut.”

The session is open to beginners, with no prior experience or supplies required. “The library will teach you the tech and provide you with all the materials you need to grow your skills!” the announcement states.

The event is free of charge.
