Jones Coffee Roasters in Pasadena will be giving away a bag of their locally Red Apron Blend coffee every time you donate $25 for Cottage Coop Nursery School, a nonprofit organization where children have been learning through play since 1972.
In this Coffee Sales Fundraising program through Nov. 5, Cottage Co-Op family members will be taking orders for 12-ounce bags of Red Apron whole bean coffee to be delivered the week of Nov. 15.
The name of the blend is inspired by the school’s distinctive red aprons. All proceeds of the coffee sale will go to Cottage Coop, whose mission is to foster social-emotional development through a child-led curriculum while supporting parents through a co-operative community.
With the support, Cottage Coop Nursery School becomes accessible to more families, keeping the tuition fees low and providing financial assistance, nurturing the parent-education program, and covering other yearly costs.
“Each year, Cottage families invite the community to join them in supporting not just a school, but a unique environment that has a lasting impact on the growth and well-being of both young children and their families,” the school said. “This year’s fundraiser has us jittery with excitement, and we hope it will perk up your interest, too!”
Donating to the fundraiser provides three options: you can donate $25 and get a 12-ounce bag of Red Apron Blend, donate $120 and get a “six-pack” or six bags of coffee, or simply donate $25 and help keep Cottage Coop Nursery School a thriving community.
