The event runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum’s 3.5-acre campus.
“Visitors are invited to join the fun for free on the first Friday of every month,” the museum states in promotional materials.
Advance reservations are required for the event.
Tickets are released approximately two weeks prior to each visit date, meaning reservations for the Feb. 6 event should become available around Jan. 23.

The Free First Fridays program is part of Kidspace’s broader efforts to provide accessible programming that removes financial barriers which might otherwise prevent families from visiting.
The three-hour window provides ample time for exploration of the facility’s exhibits and activities.
Regular admission to Kidspace costs $15.50 for children and adults, while seniors 62 and older pay $13.50.
The museum also offers discounted rates for military families at $11.50 each for up to four guests and EBT cardholders at $3 per ticket for up to four guests.
Kidspace Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1979.
The facility features more than 40 hands-on exhibits designed for children ages 1 to 10.
