La Salle Prep To Hold Open House

Published on Oct 31, 2021

La Salle College Preparatory High School, a Catholic co-educational high school serving the greater Pasadena area since 1956, is conducting an in-person Admissions Open House on Sunday, November 7, at its East Pasadena campus at 3880 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.

An announcement by the school said the Open House will allow prospective students and their families to meet the La Salle College Prep community of students, faculty, staff, coaches, and  parents; explore the 10-acre campus and the innovative learning spaces within; learn more about the school’s academic, athletic, art, and co-curricular opportunities  and student-services; and discover some of the programs that allow the average student to obtain a Lasallian education.

Over $3.5 million in financial aid and scholarships were awarded last year to deserving students, the announcement said.

A virtual open-house event is also planned for early in January 2022.

“While our virtual event will be very informative and engaging, we encourage all families (who are able to do so) to join us for our in-person Open House as a way to ‘walk in our shoes’ in the most fulfilling way possible,” the school said on its website. “We look forward to welcoming you to our campus.”

COVID-19 protocols will be in place for the in-person Open House, including health screening acknowledgement upon check-in, face coverings required for everyone in attendance, maximized use of outdoor spaces and increased ventilation for indoor spaces, and hand-sanitizing stations available throughout the campus.

Free parking will be available on the campus, with additional parking available at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 3740 E. Sierra Madre Blvd. in Pasadena, and at Sierra Madre United Methodist Church, located at 695 W. Sierra Madre Blvd. in Sierra Madre.

RSVPs are highly encouraged for a seamless check-in experience and for contact-tracing purposes.
