The Pasadena Public Library is presenting a webinar on Instagram Live at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 30, where you can learn about the history of both Dia de Los Muertos and Halloween, and how these two holidays that occur at the same time of the year are both similar and different.
Recommended for kids ages 5 to 12 as well as for the whole family, this online event is live from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and is free to attend. As a bonus for attending, you will also learn two different Halloween – or Día de los Muertos – recipes: Spooky Pumpkin Patch Dessert and Pan de Muerto.
Following the webinar, younger participants, including your preschoolers, can listen to some spooky stories on “A Witchy Storytime,” also live on Instagram, from 3 to 3:30 p.m.
