Learn Hand-Building and Wheel Throwing

The Armory Center for the Arts (ACA) is offering a Ceramics: Hand-Building and Wheel Throwing course starting on Tuesday, January 11, 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The course is open to adults 18 and above, both beginner and advanced students, and will teach participants how to use the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques, and experiment with glazing methods and different types of surface textures with a variety of high- and low-fire clays and glazes.

All materials and kiln firings are included in the price of the class.

Masks are required inside the Armory for all students and visitors. With few exceptions, students age 12 and up must show proof of full vaccination on the first day of class.

The class will have 10 meetings Tuesdays up to March 15.
