Dear Editor,
Although Robin’s BBQ restaurant closed its doors last year, you can still get some great Robin’s Woodfire BBQ!
Robin’s team has set up a stand on the patio next to the first tee of Brookside Golf Club’s #1 course. It is a lovely setting with shade from tall trees, and they have plenty of tables with umbrellas for more shade and socially distanced dining. They are open Thursdays through Sundays officially from 9:30 am to 5:30 p.m., but they were still serving after 6 p.m. yesterday.
The food is delicious and features four types of sandwiches (Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, and Tri Tip Steak), a Turkey Leg, a Sampler Platter (4 Ribs, a Brat and Pulled Pork or Pulled Chicken), four types of sausages (Brat (my favorite), Polish, Hot Link and Spicy Italian), four sides (yesterday was Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Potato Salad), four types of lemonade (Mixed Berry, Arnold Palmer, Mint Cucumber, Watermelon) and churros.
There is also a Rib Tip Combo, a BBQ Combo (3 Ribs, a Brat and a side) and a BBQ Slider Combo (Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken and Beef Brisket Sliders and a side).
The stand is manned by the wonderful team of Robin’s catering manager Camillo, Nicholas and David, who are happy to meet your BBQ needs!
Come on down and enjoy a great meal in a beautiful, relaxing and safe setting (everyone is masked). The stand is open to all who come by!
