
As the list of contributions and contributors grows, Pasadena Now has compiled a short, updated list of local businesses making contributions and donations for Altadena residents and first responders, affected by the Eaton fire.
Tender Greens is offering free meals to first responders at all of its LA area locations through the end of January. Their Pasadena location is at 621 East Colorado Blvd.
At 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, Pasadena-based law firm Mendez & Sanchez APC is hosting a community outreach event to provide first responders and those impacted by the Eaton Fire, with free In-N-Out Burger meals. The In-N-Out truck will be parked at the firm’s office at 1146 E. Green St.
Pasadena-based Dog Haus is stepping up to support the community by giving back to firefighters and the local residents affected by the fire. There will be free Haus Dogs available to those impacted by the fire, available at Dog Haus’ original location in Pasadena: 105 N Hill Ave., near Pasadena City College.
Dog Haus will also provide meals for firefighters at its Old Pasadena location at 93 East Green St.
The Pasadena Unified School District is distributing meals at Madison, Wilson and McKinley schools. Breakfast and lunches will be available at least through Friday.
While most locations have stopped accepting donations, the Sierra Madre YMCA has diapers, adult diapers, tampons, non-perishable food, baby formula, and clothing available, as well as men’s and women’s shoes.
They are still accepting donations for all items, except clothing.
The Pasadena Elks Club will distribute new shoes, apparel, personal care items, and water for local residents tomorrow, from 10 .m. -2 p.m., at its location at 400 West Colorado Blvd. Identity will proof of residency is required.
On Friday, Jan. 17, all California Snooze Eatery locations will host a fundraising day to benefit World Central Kitchen’s efforts to support and feed all Californians impacted by the devastating wildfires.
To support, guests can visit any of the following Snooze locations on Friday and 10% of their bill will be donated to World Central Kitchen.
