Published on Sep 1, 2026

A sold-out field of golfers and 260 dinner guests celebrated Living Beauty Cancer Foundation’s 9th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, August 24th at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale. The tournament included a round of golf at Oakmont, with a hole-in-one hole, golf cannon and more special activities on the course. Prizes and auction items included a Hole-In-One “choose your vacation”, the 2027 Waste Management Tournament, a Berlin Christmas trip with a stay at the Ritz Carlton and visits to the Christmas markets, a wall of wine and more! Through all aspects of giving, the 9th annual event raised more than $498,000 to support Living Beauty’s programs and services for women with cancer.

Since 2017, the Golf Classic has raised more than $2 million to support the programs and services provided by Living Beauty. The organization exists to provide free wellness and support services to more than 8,000 women with cancer. Offerings for women with cancer include overnight and day wellness retreats, movement classes, workshops focused on nutrition and other topics as well as sisterhood-building events.

Executive Director Nancy Davidson said, “Living Beauty meets women wherever they are in their cancer journey and helps provide avenues to healing and wellness. The experiences we provide these women are transformational in their lives, and the bonus of connecting with other women along the same path is incalculable. We are so grateful to our donors and friends for supporting the Golf Classic, our largest fundraising event of the year!”

Special thanks to this year’s sponsors – The Malone Family, the Gershik Family, Call the Car, Liberty Oaks Ranch, City of Hope, Banc of California, Quetico, The Home Health Agency, Adventist Health Glendale, The Bridges Group, First Citizens Bank, Compass Realty, Blissoma and Casa Mate Tequila.
