M.A. Arana will present “Wing Stroke: Book Two of the Wings Series,” published by Atmosphere Press on May 20,. The novel delves into themes of revenge and societal recognition, following characters embroiled in a struggle to reclaim their kingdom.
Tom Jenkins will discuss his nonfiction work, “The Next Run: A UC Berkeley Student’s Rise to Major 60s Pot Smuggler,” published by Rider Avenue Press on April 29. The book chronicles the true story of a Berkeley student’s journey into large-scale marijuana trafficking operations.
Dodger pitcher Dennis Powell rounds out the trio with “Standing Over Home: A Man’s Playbook to Heal Relationships Between Fathers and Sons,” published by Gatekeeper Press on April 5. His book aims to guide young men lacking father figures, addressing issues of respect and familial love.
